Changes

In this Cirbo household we can no longer keep our eyes off of Henry, he has become quite the crawler. At his nine month mark all the changes began. Henry now has two front teeth and we are expecting the bottom two in the next few weeks. He is pulling himself up onto everything, he would rather be standing up then sitting. He uses his walker to get around (old man style), and wants to be into what ever we are into. He says Dada often, however when he is upset the Mama comes out. While with Grandma last week he figured out how to climb up stairs, he hasn't tried our larger stair case, I'm sure he looks up and sees how far it is and says, "forget it". For Halloween Henry is a very cheerful Lion. We thought he would hate wearing his costume, but he doesn't mind it at all. We shall see what he thinks of trick-or-treating and trick-or-treaters.

This week Henry is 6 months old, he is loving the sound of his voice. He thinks it is great fun to scream over and over again. He now hates to lay down, he would rather see everything that is going on around him, which I don't blame him. We are working on crawling, but still not moving. He is able to stand supported, we are working out those chunky legs. Henry is still enjoying foods, we recently started on fruit, so know he would rather have food then a bottle. Sleeping through the night is also improving, we have been very lucky, usually just once a night. We recently had the opportunity to take Henry swimming, he didn't hate it, but didn't really know what to think of it either. I hope we can go again before summer is over. So far this summer has been enjoyable, I have been training for my first triathlon that takes place August 2nd, and it seems to be going well. We have enjoyed spending time with each of our families, which never seems to be enough time. Joshua this summer has been busy with hockey and softball. This last weekend he was in a hockey tournament and his team did real well. Second place- Go Wolf!!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for coming and watching Henry. He also recently played in a frisbee golf tournament with Dustin, they also got second place. Very good for never playing in either tournaments.

There is a lot going on!

Although the Nuggets lost to the Lakers, we are very proud of how far they came. They put on a great show and should have won, however the cheers where heard from our house, before every game we all dressed in our Nuggets gear to support the home team. Great Job Nuggets!!!!

Henry is now five months old, which means he now gets to try baby food. He had carrots for the first time on Saturday and loved them. It was messy, but he managed to get some of it down. This weekend we will try a new veggie, so far it seems he isn't going to be too picky. Henry has also recently found his tongue and enjoys sticking it out at people. No offense people, new discovery! We are finally on a 4 hour schedule, well all except the night, but something is bound to change now that I am home we can try some new ideas.

Over Memorial Day weekend, we enjoyed spending time with the family, the cousins got to play, well kind of, they got to hold Henry and look at him. Lily was very sweet and gave Henry kisses, which was very cute. The girls are getting so big, Lily is now starting to talk, so it was cute to hear her say a few words. Thanks to all the family members that made the BBQ happen, it was great to see everyone and have some good grub. Josh and Jason seem to always enjoy there time together. Lindsay and I enjoyed our time away from the boys making some cute cards. Who will be the next to get one? Henry also got to meet is new partner in crime Connor Patterson, that was born on the same day. They enjoyed looking at each other, soon enough they will be the trouble makers.

Joshua is still working at Wolf Robotics as a Project Manager, he has been traveling more, but we are thankful that he has a job. He also is involved in ice hockey, which he loves and just scored a goal last week. Joshua is also part of a male softball team, which brings back a lot of memories for him. For never seeing him play before he is quite the natural ball player.

As for me, I am off for the summer, catching up on time with my kid. Catching up on some reading, and training for a triathlon later this summer. I have been given the fifth grade challenge next year, and I am starting to get excited about the challenge. I will be teaching math to all the students. Joshua laughs because that isn't my strongest subject, but is was what made the most sense with my team. As for now I'm loving my time off!!!

Battle of the Sickness

It is the saddest thing when your little one is sick. Henry has had a little cold for a few weeks now. The doctors say he is on the down side of the slope, so we will be back to getting some sleep. We are going to be starting cereals this week, wow time is going so fast, he will be crawling soon enough. Henry, even with all this sickness has a cheerful attitude. The teachers at daycare want to take him home, it is good to know he is well loved by everyone. He is now wearing 6-9 month clothes, he is a long and lean eating machine.

Full of Smiles

Henry is now a little over 3 months old and is growing right before our eyes. He has now found his hands and voice. We think he is going to be a jabber jaws like his mother. He loves to eat...not a surprise. The doctor says we can start cereal, but we are going to wait a few more weeks. Henry will randomly sleep through the night, but is mostly up for one quick feeding.
Henry recently celebrated his first Easter by finding eggs around grandma and grandpa Cirbo's house, receiving his first stuffed bunny- that sings and hops, then enjoyed watching his family eat a large brunch. The holidays are a lot more fun when you have a little one.

What's New?

It has been two months now with our new little addition. Henry is now a little over 12 pounds and 2 feet long. He likes to smile and is figuring out how to laugh. He enjoys being bounced and sang to. Bath time is also a fun time for Henry. I think we are going to have a water baby. Jackie is now back to work and teaching the rest of her kids. They had a warm welcome, which made the transition back easier. Not as great as being home, but hey we all have to do it. Any how, Henry is lucky to have Grandma Cirbo watching him two days a week while were at work. Recently we took Henry to his first Eagle's Hockey game. He didn't know quite what to think of all the cheering and loud horns when they scored. He had a very confused expression, over stimulated, but most of the time he just slept. What a good kid!!!!!
